Apple’s new product? “Beware,” says Tim Cook
In recent months we have seen a series of rumors about the possibility that Apple is developing Augmented Reality glasses – considered the company’s next big product with the potential to even rival the iPhone in terms of popularity.
Apple still does not officially comment on these rumors but, in an interview given to China Daily, CEO Tim Cook hinted that the technology is moving in the area of Augmented Reality.
“Stay tuned and you’ll see what we have to offer”, said Cook when asked about the possibility that Apple is working on Augmented Reality.
The leader of the ‘Apple Company’ added that he “couldn’t be more excited” about the development of Augmented Reality, also noting that this technology is still “in its early days”.
Despite the enthusiasm for Augmented Reality, it is believed that Apple will still take some time to show something in public. Analysts believe that, at best, Apple will only show some concrete product in the next year.
When you're confident about what you're doing, you don't show prototypes or concepts that might never see the light of the day. You just announce, launch and ship the product…when it's done.
