Ford has $2 billion to invest in electric cars in Europe
The company aims to sell 600,000 cars in Europe by 2026, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035. The amount that Ford has to invest will allow the brand to bet on new market segments with electric cars, namely in the commercial area – with the Transit Courier and the Tourneo Courier.
“These new electric vehicles from Ford signal something that is no less than a total transformation of our brand in Europe – a new generation of zero-emission vehicles, optimized for a connected world, offering our customers a truly remarkable driving experience. ”, said the head of Ford in Europe, Stuart Rowley.
