Ford wants to produce 150,000 electric trucks per year
The F-150 Lightning and F-150 Lightning Pro will hit the market in the first half of 2022, with first deliveries expected in spring. Ford says it has entered the final pre-construction phase.
Ford’s increased production of electric vehicles is not exclusive to the F-150 Lightning and will also encompass the Mustang Mach-E. The company hopes to reach a production of more than 200,000 units per year by 2023.
