Ford announced that it plans to increase production capacity of its F-150 Lightning van to 150,000 units a year by 2023, a sign of the manufacturer’s confidence in this new electric vehicle.

The F-150 Lightning and F-150 Lightning Pro will hit the market in the first half of 2022, with first deliveries expected in spring. Ford says it has entered the final pre-construction phase.
