Facebook will create a commission to handle elections
Facebook is studying the possibility of creating a special commission within the company that would make decisions on the platform regarding elections.
According to The New York Times, Facebook has already talked to experts and academics about this commission, which will aim to deal with content-related decisions during election periods.

Since the 2016 US presidential election, Facebook has been criticized for the way it handles disinformation and false news during elections, with this commission being one way to respond to those criticisms.
There are beliefs that the launch of this Facebook commission will take place before the US mid-term elections scheduled for fall 2022.
