Disney+ has over 116 million members now
Disney announced that Disney+ reached 116 million subscribers as of July 3, plus 12.4 million members since the last update earlier this year.
That’s a staggering number for Disney’s streaming service that’s been on the market for less than two years. By comparison, it took Netflix more than a decade to have 209 million members, notes CNet.

It is believed that the growth in the number of Disney+ subscribers is due to the focus on original content, both in series like ‘Loki’ and animated films like ‘Luca’. Both came to streaming service earlier this summer.
