Audi will only produce electric cars from 2026
Audi will only produce electric vehicles from 2026 onwards. According to the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, which cites statements made by Audi CEO Markus Duesmann to union representatives and top managers of the company.
The Volkswagen group brand will stop manufacturing cars with combustion engine and they will also stop producing hybrid models from 2026 onwards. However, Audi has not yet officially announced this decision.
The German brand has expanded the range of electric models in recent years, and will introduce the A6 E-tron and Q5 E-tron next year.
