Uber and Lyft are having trouble to find drivers in US
Despite the advanced vaccination campaign in the US, it seems that not all drivers feel ready to resume their operations. On the other hand, users of these apps seem to have started using them more often, thus creating a disparity between supply and demand.

According to Uber’s latest financial report for the first quarter of 2021, the company has seen its vehicle fleet shrink to 3.5 million active drivers. This is 22% fewer drivers than the company indicated it had in the same period in 2020.
Uber is known to be working on incentives and bonuses to convince drivers to return to service.
