Apple plans to sell 20 million foldable iPhone’s in 2023, says analyst

The analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is one of the most respected names in matters related to Apple and, according to MacRumors, it seems that he believes that Apple will launch a foldable screen iPhone in 2023.

The foldable model is now a “must-have” for major smartphone brands, Kuo said in a note to clients.

“After 5G, the foldable smartphone is the next innovative selling point of high-end models,” he wrote.

In the forecast sent by Kuo to investors, it is indicated that the foldable iPhone will have an 8-inch QHD + screen provided by Samsung, also forecasting that the company will be able to sell between 15 to 20 million of these devices.

The forecast is highly speculative but, given that Apple’s big rivals already have foldable screen devices on the market and that this is a growing segment, it is likely that the ‘Apple Company’ doesn’t want to miss the opportunity.
