Elon Musk: “SpaceX will land rockets on Mars well before 2030”

SpaceX’s founder and CEO, Elon Musk, has never hidden his desire to launch rockets to Mars, and he is currently testing Starship prototypes precisely for missions to the ‘Red Planet’. However, it seems that Musk is not satisfied with the lack of ambition of European aviation agencies.

In response to Ars Technica – where it was indicated in an article that European agencies would focus on competitive launch systems starting in 2030 – Musk stated that “SpaceX will be landing [rockets] Starship on Mars long before 2030”.

For Musk, European agencies are being “unambitious” and notes that the great difficulty will be to create a base on Mars that is self-sustainable.
