Apple: “We’re always looking for companies to buy”
Apple released its financial results for the first quarter and, during this presentation, the CEO Tim Cook was asked about the technology’s strategy regarding the acquisition of other companies.
“We are always looking for companies to buy. We have acquired many small companies and we will continue to do so with intellectual property and onboarding talent. We don’t sideline a larger company if the opportunity presents itself. I won’t reveal my list on this call, but we’re always on the lookout.”, said Cook according to 9to5mac
The question was specifically posed in relation to health, content and fitness companies, in which Apple has been pointed out as one of Peloton’s potential purchases.
