Twitter will start paying content creators with cryptocurrencies
This test will take place in 120 countries later this year and will feature Ethereum integration and compatibility with multiple virtual wallets. After receiving cryptocurrency payments, content creators will be able to choose to store the amount on the Polygon network or exchange it for another currency.
“Twitter is where people go to have conversations about what’s going on. We’re focused on helping the creators who generate these conversations make money and connect with their audiences in new ways. We are excited to start offering cryptocurrency payments to creators via Stripe so they have more choice in how they are paid.”
