Dogecoin creator destroys other memecoins: “They’re not memes, they’re rugpulls”

Billy Marcus, one of the creators of the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin, struck again. For him, the creators of new memecoins are “just looking to make money”.

Marcus believes the new memecoins are idiots and liars in a new tweet with hundreds of likes and rts:

“satire has some mildly clever elements to it. jokes are funny.
spam advertising, lying about who is involved in a project, making up ridiculous promises, desperately trying to get Elon’s attention to promote you, etc. are not clever or amusing.” said Billy who also added the photo below to his tweet:

“Remember dogecoin was made 8 years ago. as satire. making fun of the idiotic coins. irony. satire,” he added

“current “meme” coins aren’t even memes. they’re made by people trying to get rich off of other people trying to get rich. to each their own, but it is indeed a different thing.” – completed the creator of Dogecoin.

However, thanks to Doge’s success and Elon Musk’s support for the project, other not-so-fun cryptocurrencies began to emerge. For example, in April 2021 the CEO of Tesla tweeted what appeared to be a song with the word Baby Doge, which happens to be a crypto asset. Result? High over 800% in less than a week.
