A total of four advertisements on the company’s job site mention NFTs. The positions are for director of sales and digital marketing; cultural trends marketing manager; business development manager; and manager of business development and innovation at ESPN.

The first of these job openings is looking for a candidate who “will help lead Disney’s NFT industry initiatives, including monitoring the growing market, defining category strategy and managing key partners.”

Disney’s future cultural trends marketing manager will have to focus on how its streaming service Hulu can “break into other industries besides streaming,” including NFTs, as well as crypto and the metaverse.

In turn, the director of digital sales and marketing will be responsible for leading initiatives in emerging technologies, including, of course, NFTs.

The last of the announced vacancies is an internship that will take place in the second quarter of 2022. The future intern will have to demonstrate “a strong understanding of new technologies in the industry (such as NFTs, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology)”.
