Joe Biden government is mining Bitcoin, says White House adviser
Gibbs, who is also the CEO of Compass Mining, made the revelation during an interview on Anthony Pompliano’s “Best Business Show” on Wednesday, December 1st.
During a conversation about the countries that are currently mining bitcoin, the United States came about by chance. The interviewers also talked about mining activities carried out by both El Salvador and the Venezuelan government.
When the interviewer asked the White House adviser about what the US needs to start mining operations for so-called digital gold, the interviewee clearly stated that “America is already exploding”, but quickly corrected himself by slipping in the word “maybe” as a fabric softener.
“They might have 10 to 20 watts running somewhere in the Midwest to test it. It might be. It’s hypothetically speaking,” said the bitcoin mining expert maliciously, clarifying that the issue was one of national security.
According to Gibbs, bitcoin mining can help developing countries improve their living standards. For the US government adviser, the bitcoin plan that El Salvador has implemented will lead to positive results in the next 20 to 30 years.

Realizing that he could get more information from the mining specialist, Pompliano decided to play a joke with the interviewee: he would tell a story about secrecy and then Gibbs would have to tell another. Pomp, as he is called, told of a government agency that was reportedly involved in bitcoin mining in the US.
Without naming the agency, he said that the agency could not approve a budget for buying bitcoin and then found it could do so by buying computers and mining the cryptocurrency, which they would use for alleged covert operations.
According to Pompliano, he obtained the information directly from one of those involved in the operation, which he said began in 2013. The expert then invited Gibbs to share some similar story, and he replied: “That’s how you get into trouble” .
The conversation between the two crypto market experts, one of whom is someone with an active participation in the mining field, suggests that bitcoin mining operations by the US government and other major economies are already underway.
Officially, however, no information in this regard has yet been confirmed.
