Tesla will be able to make its autonomous driving software – Full Self-Driving (FSD) – available in the form of a public beta at the end of September.

Tesla will launch autonomous driving software in late September
Note that this public beta will only be available to those who purchased this add-on separately for their vehicles.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, said via Twitter that the company will make version 10 of the FSD available on September 10th for some users.

After a period of four weeks, which will allow the company to fix some ‘bugs’, the aforementioned public beta for drivers will be launched.
We should be there with Beta 10, which goes out a week from Friday (no point release this week).
It will have a completely retrained NN, so will need another few weeks after that for tuning & bug fixes. Best guess is public beta button in ~4 weeks.

Remember that, despite this promise from Musk, Tesla is not oblivious to delays in launching its products and updates, so the estimates are not entirely reliable.
