Amazon denies rumors and clarifies that it will not integrate Bitcoin as a payment method
After a day full of many expectations and with the increase in the prices of the main cryptocurrencies, Amazon has finally pronounced itself in relation to Bitcoin and unfortunately the news is not as good as many expected.
Amazon, the platform that appears as one of the online giants for the commerce of products and services, denied the rumors that began to circulate during the night of yesterday and assured that among its plans it is not to accept Bitcoin payments for this anus.
This was revealed by the journalist for the Bloomberg news agency, Caroline Hyde, who shared the announcement through her Twitter account stating:

The clarification by Amazon puts an end to the rumors that began to circulate yesterday, after a source with knowledge of the case told City A.M. that the company would officially integrate Bitcoin as a payment method by the end of this year, ensuring that this decision came from the highest echelons of the company, even with the support of its founder and former CEO, Jeff Bezos.
The source in question also mentioned other interesting things, among which the possible incorporation of other digital currencies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash or Cardano stands out, as well as Amazon’s intentions to launch its own cryptocurrency in the not too distant future, although it did not reveal tentative dates for such measures.
