ClubHouse : the new web fever
Clubhouse is a new fever, it’s a new audio-based social network created in 2020 by Alpha Exploration Co and took less than a year (January 21) to reach a $1 billion valuation after a round of funding led by Andreessen Horowitz.
The application works as chat rooms, being themed, such as music, lectures, various subjects and can be filtered according to the user’s preferences. In them, there are open contents, that is, that anyone can hear what is being said at that moment. That is, you can hear what a famous person is saying and talk to him. Among the celebrities that are part of it are Oprah, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Drake and Ashton Kutcher. In addition, there are private rooms, for the user to interact only with friends.
The user can interact in two ways: as an ear and as a “speaker” (or speaker); when entering a room as a listener and feel like talking, you need to ask the moderator for authorization, which works like Zoom, by pressing the “Raise Your Hand” button, and he may give you permission if he wants.
Clubhouse gives the opportunity to connect with people in your industry, as well as to network with other business/events/community leaders.
